Once you recognize yourself as a soul, and affirm that you are a soul, an immense change will take place in your life. What will happen is this: A great flood of light pours into your mind and clears away the age long obstacles, illusions and thoughtforms that have kept you a slave of your past.
In soul consciousness a spiritual energy begins to build within you and it accumulates. It accumulates because you no longer misuse it through wrong and negative thinking. At this point in your expanding consciousness, you are slowly becoming a true leader – where you have true power, where you can heal your environment, uplift others and lead; truly lead.
You begin to live a simple life. Having soul-level consciousness will transmute you into a magnetic personality that will find you serving the cause of human liberation. Where you will inflame the hearts and souls of all true humanitarians throughout the world who will be charged with the spirit of greater dedication, aspiration and sacrifice. These leaders, having achieved Soul consciousness, will not stop at any obstacle, and through stupendous self-sacrifice, they will lead humanity as a whole toward a higher dimension of living. The introduction of this is set forth in part, in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and in the United Nations’ Charter.
What we can see is once a person has gained education and some knowledge the person too often leads his family or his country toward attacks and war. But once you are Soul conscious, such actions are no longer possible, for soul consciousness does not work for personal, group or national freedom alone; it works for planetary and global independence and leads to an everlasting sense of unity, because the soul is group conscious and stands for all humanity and its highest good.
I think that we are going to see that when illumined men and women begin to appear, we will recognize a leadership that stands above racial discrimination, religious separation, dogmas, and doctrines.
I think that we will recognize one another and will hold each others hands from east to west and from north to south. Then a new dawn will break upon humanity and “the orphan of the planets,” mankind itself, will experience a great release of joy which has been imprisoned within man for ages and ages due to human slavery and ignorance. This will be the age of health, trust, joy, understanding and cooperation.
When soul-level conscious leaders gradually move into politics, education, philosophy, the arts and sciences, and economics, it is then we have the potential to see a universal sense of harmlessness and a deep, fiery devotion to the flame of life in every form; from the flowers on the earth to the stars in the sky.

What does this mean to us? The soul in us is the sense of unity. As we have a sense of smell, a sense of taste, a sense of touch, etc. we also have a sense which can be called the Soul. This sense is the sense of unity, it operates for unity, and it is expressed only by acts of unity because it stands for unity.
A person’s unfolding human soul is the eye of his true Self, symbolized by Aldebaran the brightest star in the constellation of Taurus and this eye, when opened sufficiently, can see only unity in the diversity of forms. It sees the essence which expresses itself in manifold ways, means, colors and forms. Let this sense control our outer form, and life, and all events.
